35 miles, climbing 3035 feet up
The antagonist, Mount Harmony…the first climb of the day sets the stage. Pedaling steady, I make my way over the rolling terrain to the second big ascent, Mt Paul (aka- Fox Chase) Along the way I traverse the lakes and streams of the Peapack Brook and Raritan River tributaries.
Crossing bridges and passing farms through the Peapack Valley, Mt Paul soon appears. With a 6.4% average grade, she rises 540′ over a 1.4 miles.
Back down into “Peapackton” with the final ‘low’ hill of Liberty Corner awaiting to close the day.
