2015 British Superbikes (BSB) Champion Josh Brookes has moved up to the WorldSBK with the Milwaukee team for the 2016 World Series.
The Australian will be racing the BMW S1000RR Bike in what will be an exciting fresh experience for the BSB Champion who will be racing the German Bike for the first time as his previous spells has been with the Japanese Powerplants of Kawasaki, Honda and Yamaha.
According to a Press release, ‘BMW Motorrad Motorsport will provide support and technical know-how and its experts will work alongside the team throughout the whole season, along with engines and electronics,’. ‘The team will be responsible for the development of the bike during the season and manage the sporting and logistical aspects of its participation in the series.’
With 35 World Superbikes race starts between 2006 and 2012, the Australian returns to the WorldSBK paddock as the 2015 British Superbike Champion.
